ILLU5050 - Conceptual Illustration Outcomes

This project was about developing a conceptual illustration in response to a written article. The article I addressed in my project was Videogames have replaced music as the most important aspect of youth culture, an opinion piece published by the Guardian.
The briefed outcomes were:

• One illustration measuring 125mm high by 85mm wide, in a CYMK colour format
• One animated illustration to be featured online (which is to be an animated version of the initial illustration), in an RGB colour format.

The animated illustration was for use in the digital media version of the article, and the non-animated illustration was for print uses of the article.
The pixel-art nature of my outcomes allows them to be scaled up with ease to fulfil and dimensions within the same image ratio.
